If I'm going to post about Brisket that's not my own, you know it's good! To be honest, I think his Ribs were better! All the sides were so on point! Woods BBQ! When I saw the 5 star reviews, I usually think they're all from family. Nope! This place is the real deal. Hidden in the back of a gas station and only open on weekends. Best Texas BBQ I've ever had! And a really awesome person serving it up. When we come thru next time, he'd better have a smothered baked potato on the menu that he posted about last week.

Soo good, brisket amazing, sides amazing, cornbread not dry. Literally the best brisket I have ever had. Peach cobbler was so good. Everything and I live in Austin where bbq is everywhere. I go every time I can to or from Houston.

All the food was delicious! Got the ribs, brisket, and sausage for meats, and chili beans, potato salad, and collard greens for sides, along with some cornbread. The staff was very friendly as well. The owner Mr. Jon Woods even came out and greeted me. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area! Note that the counter is inside the Columbus Food Mart.

Beautiful people and delicious food. The brisket sandwich is absolutely fire! And the ribs melt in your mouth. The family running this restaurant are some of the nicest and most beautiful people I have ever been blessed to interact with. I don't have a lot of money being disabled, but I specifically save to be able to treat myself to this food and family goodness. Thank you for the joy your food and family provide

This place is a hidden gem. We try to stop here every time we’re passing through. It’s family owned, and the family is so polite, we love supporting small business’. The food is amazing, the brisket is always great lean, or fatty, the smoked cabbage has a fiery kick, and the potatoe salad is so flavorful with crunchy celery. I can’t brag enough about this place. It’s extremely clean as well!!

Found myself craving BBQ and saw the reviews. Highly recommend the brisket and ribs. They were perfect with a flavorful spice and great woody smoke layer! The sides were awesome- smoked cabbage and collard greens was my choice. The owners are kind and good people. I will definitely stop back when I am passing through.

Everything was fresh, hot, and clearly made with love. Friendly service and quick turnaround sealed the deal. We'll definitely be back!
